Description
Composition in gray tones, white, earthy, black, blue, red and green. Smooth texture, color areas, and marked brushstrokes. It depicts quartet of musicians occupying almost the entire support area against geometrized background. Pictures are of the black race, are outlined in black and have outlined physiognomic traits. From the left to the right is seen clarinetist harlequin dress, with cone-shaped hat, standing and facing. Has arms folded in whose safe hands the clarinet is playing. His clothing is of diamonds defined by black lines, all of which contain short strokes in red. To his on the left, front man sitting with his head turned to the left. It wears short-brimmed hat and blue suit and white, spotted. It arms folded and holds a Cavaquinho at chest height. On your on the left, to the right of the composition, opossum player seated on the right leg. It wears a small blue hat and light clothing defined by rapid brushstrokes and small dots suggesting stamped. His on the left leg is bent with knee to the air and on the ground. His head is in profile to the left. He folded arms and hands secure a blue opossum.
