Composition in black and white. Straight and parallel lines and shading. It depicts with eleven figures working in the overthrow of a forest. In the foreground, center, dark-skinned man standing in front with legs very safe apart with his hands an ax to the right, suggesting that will trigger a coup in the trunk of a tree that is on the left of the composition; on the right two figures. Suggesting, by size, are two boys crouched forward with trunk inclined forward and arms straight down as if they were picking up something on the ground. In the background, on the left, two figures, also on a smaller scale, suggesting that they are boys, face to face, with trunks bent down as if they were picking up something on the ground; a little more to the right, another figure with ax in the hands suggesting that will trigger a coup in the same tree trunk that is in the foreground; on the right back with legs bent figure with ax horizontally as if cutting tree trunk in front.
