Title
Sancho Panza Sleeping on Horseback and Revered by People
Description
Composition in black tones, yellow, earthy, blue, green, orange, violet and white. Contour lines, and dashed straight and parallel. It depicts Sancho, on a horse, sleeping with the group of figures around as if they were venerating against a yellow background. In the foreground, on the right, Sancho, too fat, inclined backwards mounted harnessed horse chest and plume. To the left, a group of two women kneeling, his back, his arms stretched forward; a man with curved trunk; two other women also kneeling and five men and children also around Sancho Panza with his arms up, some kneeling. Further down, on the right, more compact group of people assembled on horseback, facing, also looking toward Sancho Panza. Background yellow and represented by dashed ground, and to the right of center, one sees counter with grid with two outlined figures.
