Title
Jesus is Laid in the Tomb
Description
Composition in black, red and white tones. Straigh and parallel outlines. Dead Jesus being carried by four figures, close to a tomb with the background wood. On the left female profile to the right with the head bent forward, holding the armpits the body of Jesus which is in front of naked and placed in a kind of shroud and being suspended by three figures. The body of Jesus is in horizontal view across the center of the composition. Behind Jesus at the time of his waist, man standing in front with beard, holding the shroud; more to the right, another figure, lower than the others, front and head tilted to the right holding also in the shroud, at the time of Jesus' feet; on the right man standing in front with beard, his body slightly back as if pulling the tip of the shroud holding with both hands trying to put the body of Jesus in a tomb that is in the lower half on the right composition. Background with trees next to each other suggesting woods. Straight lines diagonally cross the composition of which in the upper on the right half, where several cross no red spot.
