The II National Symposium Candido Portinari: The Experiences and Rights of Children in the Work of Candido Portinari brought together scholars, artists, educators and jurists to discuss and analyze how Portinari captured the experiences and rights of children in his work. The symposium encouraged collaboration between different disciplines, bringing together art, education, music, literature and other fields for a comprehensive understanding of childhood in Portinari's work.
The event was promoted by the São Paulo State Government, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, the House of Portinari Museum/ACAM Portinari and the Portinari Project.
