Composition in black and white. Soft and shaded contour lines obtained by fast and smoky dashed. Portrait of man occupying almost the entire stand area. The pictured faces three quarters to the left, has long, thin face, dark hair parted on the right and short close to the ear. High forehead, thin arched eyebrows, almond-shaped eyes with reflection in the pupil, slightly hooked nose, lips parted leaving visible part of the teeth, thin mustaches, pointed chin and short neck. The ear is not set, mingling with flat bottom support. You see the beginning of the collar and black tie.
