Description
Composition in blue tones, gray, black, orange, rose and white. Parallel, straight and sinuous lines. Traces zigzag on rectangular colored shapes. Representing St. John the Baptist with sheep on his shoulders. Except the ram and some anatomical details of the figure of St. John the Baptist, the composition is characterized by varying geometric shapes. In the center of the composition, stand the holy and sheep. St. John the Baptist is from the front, standing, holding the profile of lamb shoulders to the left. Sheep shape determined by the absence of color. Carneiro white with gray stripes suggesting hair and secure with front and rear legs at the hands of the saint. Hair of John the Baptist are represented by a few black lines, eyes are just indicated, nose and mouth unrepresented. On the left cheek has touches of blue and gray, on the right cheek has orange accents. Arms, hands, legs and feet in orange tone. Robe robe falls just below the knees and is represented by colored geometric shapes, predominating the gray and black tones.
