Description

In the center of the composition, Denise, still a child, full length, sitting with white sheep in her hands against geometrized background. The portrayed has her head tilted to the left, round face, thinning hair styled with a panache, visible left ear, round, well-designed eyes with defined lashes with marked strokes, long nose, small mouth with thick lower lip. Light falls on the face. She wears a dress in shades of rose with treatment of geometric areas that overlap on the bottom, creating a set of broken angles. Through the dress cloth, we see her hands caressing a ram which is sitting to the right, in profile, looking at her. Beneath the drapery vest her legs and left foot stand out and behind, as if lying on the floor, is her right foot. The background in dark tone is represented by geometric areas.
