Description
Composition in gray tones, earthy, ochre, green, white and yellow. Rough texture, a result of its support of the work. It depicts five farmers robust complexion working in the cane harvest. In the foreground, on the left, profile man to the right, with the torso tilted forward, carrying on his back a large bundle of reeds tied by ropes cut. Have dark skin, folded on the right arm covering almost his face, holding a piece of string tying beam; It has the legs slightly bent and the on the right is earlier than the on the left. wear light clothing - sleeveless shirt, own those who carry burdens and rolled up pants below the knees - and is barefoot. In the background, on the right, two cane cutters, also with dark skin in profile standing to the right, side by side, looking up in front of the sugarcane plantation.
